NOVEL: SEPTEMBER SIX by Bashir Shu'aibu Jammaje

About the Book
It was 2001. Ummi arrived in a village called Jammaje. Most of the villagers hated a complete stranger, because of two incidents that happened within the same week; she came with a business opportunity that made all the villagers accept her - they were all happy for her arrival. But Ummi was harbouring a dark secret.

Even the darkest secrets couldn’t stay buried forever...
She gave away her well-kept secret to Nasir who was her assistant, because she wanted to ask for his hand in marriage. Unfortunately, her request was met with a point-blank refusal, for Nasir loved Maryam to bits...

“Bashir Jammaje’s characters are full of life. The novel is fast paced, full of drama and enriched with dialogue. The novelist does not bore the reader with an intrusive narrator but lets the story come to life through the actions and speech of the characters. An interesting, suspenseful and heart-in-your mouth read!”
